Once you have been matched to a Foundation School and have received confirmation of this via Oriel, you will then receive an email inviting you to preference the programmes that are available in your School and giving further information on how the allocation process works. The deadline for this ranking will be 24th March 2017 (TBC).
Details of programmes for your Foundation School(s) can be found by clicking the F1/F2 Posts 2017 on the link below and we suggest you have these to hand whilst deciding on your preferences and entering them onto the system. Please note that information regarding specific rotations can change prior to commencement (you will be informed if this is the case).
Allocation to programme is based on your total score (EPM + SJT), and matching is done in a cascading order, starting with the highest scoring applicant. (Linked applications at UoA level are not applicable at allocation to programme stage). You will be required to preference ALL available programmes; please be aware that if you do not do so and have not scored highly enough to secure a match to one which you have ranked (because higher scoring applicants will receive priority and popular programmes will therefore be allocated first), you will be randomly allocated to a remaining programme.
Once the match to programme process is complete, you will be notified of the outcome on 6 April 2017, again via Oriel.

Reserve List Allocations
Where there are more applicants than posts available, any applicants not initially allocated to a programme will be placed on a reserve list. At predetermined dates, batches of applicants from the reserve list will be allocated, again in a cascading order based on application score, to any vacancies which have become available within UoAs.
If you are allocated from the reserve list to one of our Foundation Schools, you will first be asked to preference rotations remaining (where more than one vacancy is available) and you will then be allocated to a rotation based on your original application score. You will be asked to attend a pre-employment competency screening interview, which will be arranged by the respective Trust.
