Supervision
Each trainee has an educational supervisor appointed for their whole 5 years training with meetings set out in e portfolio to occur at the start, mid point and end of each training year.
In each attachment clinical supervisors are appointed – these are the main consultants you will be working with during the attachment.
Meetings are again set out in e portfolio to occur at the start, mid point and end of each attachment.
Appraisal & Assessment
The ARCPs are held annually between September and November. The ARCP decision grid is set out in the curriculum as detailed in e portfolio and available on the Royal College of Radiologists website www.rcr.ac.uk.
Key decision points concerning exams are that Part I FRCR must have been completed to progress from ST4 to ST5 and Part II FRCR to progress from ST6 to ST7.
