Foundation elearning programme update June 2022

Welcome to your June 2022 update about the Foundation elearning programme.

The Foundation elearning programme has been developed specifically for Foundation doctors by the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges in partnership with Health Education England elearning for healthcare (HEE elfh) and is approved by the UK Foundation Programme (UKFPO).

We have a Foundation elearning programme which aligns all elearning sessions with the 2021 curriculum.

F1 doctors starting in August 2022 will be enrolled to the Foundation elearning programme by the end of June 2022. Please check your emails for information or your notifications on the elearning for healthcare (elfh) hub. Doctors becoming F2 in August 2022 will continue with their current enrolment.

Remember, if you have not already used our elearning resources, the Foundation programme has been developed to support you in completing the 2021 Foundation Curriculum and is available free via the HEE elfh hub.

Topics cover the entire Foundation Curriculum and completing elearning sessions early will help you get more out of your attachments in the Foundation years. The sessions are mapped to the Foundation Curriculum and will provide evidence to the General Medical Council that you have completed the curriculum.

The Foundation elearning programme will help you cover parts of the Foundation Curriculum that you would otherwise not encounter. Your sessions will be recorded in your eportfolio on the elfh hub.

Check the programme to see other sessions that might help you.

You can sign on to the elearning with your login supplied by elearning for healthcare at any time during your foundation training: https://www.elfh.org.uk/programmes/foundation-programme/

HORUS and TURAS have deep links to elearning for healthcare sessions from the Foundation Curriculum and therefore accessible to all trainees, making it quicker and easy to access the appropriate session linked to the curriculum.
