Both the Birmingham and North Staffordshire training programmes have regular protected teaching time with a structured lecture and tutorial programmes to support trainees studying for the Part I and Part II Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) examinations.
The teaching is structured as follows:
Year One Anatomy, Physics and Radiographic techniques
Preparation for the Part I FRCR examination in physics and anatomy
Years Two and Three
Core training across multiple modalities and specialites
Preparation for the Part II FRCR examination
Years Four, Five (& Six)
Sub-speciality training leading to a Completion of Specilaity Training.
