If you are a Specialty Registrar who started on or after 1st August 2007, then you will be covered by the Annual Review of Competence Progression (ARCP). Full details on the ARCP can be found in the publication 'A Guide to Postgraduate Specialty Training in the UK' (The Gold Guide).

How do Annual Reviews affect me?

As a trainee, your progress must be reviewed at least annually by your Local Education Training Board (LETB), which is the body responsible for managing your training. Annual reviews are necessary to maintain patient safety and ensure that you are provided with appropriate support for your development as a dentist.
