National HEE Guidance Video For Doctors Who Have Taken Time Out

Supported Return to Training (SuppoRTT) is a centrally funded, locally delivered in the West Midlands, initiative which aims to support all postgraduate doctors to safely and confidently return to training after a period of absence. This period is absence is generally 3 months or more, regardless of the reason. As postgraduate doctors are a diverse group, SuppoRTT aims to provide a bespoke and individualised package for each returning doctor.

It is strongly recommended that if you have been absent for 3 months or more, that you follow our Supported Return to Training Guidance. It is designed to ensure that you have a SAFE and CONFIDENT return to clinical practice.
