Person Requirements

Neurology is a stimulating career and is an intellectually challenging and satisfying specialty where clinical skills are used to the full. So much of diagnosis in neurology is still about excellent history-taking and examination

Neurology will particularly suit trainees who:

• have good clinical skills (that combine a good knowledge of anatomy with good listening skills)
• are team players but able to work with a measure of independence
• are innovative with strong logical reasoning skills

Neurology is a group 1 speciality and training will include internal medicine. Entry will be after completion of IM3 training
