Research Opportunities
Neurology offers many opportunities for research. Majority of trainees spend 2-3 years in full-time research, either before starting Neurology training or they take time off the training programme to complete their research.

During this period trainees develop research skills and define their eventual subspecialty interest which may include movement disorders, neuromuscular diseases, Multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, headaches or stroke.
