EMCEF – Emergency Medicine Continuing Education Forum

The EMCEF meetings have been running since 2010, and have gained momentum as an opportunity for high quality CPD provided by not only local consultants and trainees, but international speakers of world renown.

From a relatively small beginning, the days regularly attract >100 delegates from all over the UK and are highly recommended for their engaging and entertaining speakers and broad content.

Clinical Sciences Building, UHCW, Coventry

Target audience:
Emergency Medicine consultants (senior middle-grade doctors may also attend, if space permits, when accompanying a consultant from the same department – please contact EMCEF for details)

Aims & objectives:
To provide Emergency Medicine consultants with a CPD opportunity of the highest quality for their own development, without the expense of leaving the Midlands. Also, to provide an opportunity to present the latest evidence about topics of interest to consultants from our region by consultants from our region

CPD Points applied for (& body applied to):
7 hours by the College of Emergency Medicine (according to the College, EMCEF is the only forum to which they credit 7 hours in one day)
