Educational Supervision for Trainers
(Training the Trainers)

The PMETB Generic Standards for Training (PMETB, 2009) states that all Doctors acting as supervisors for Junior Doctors must have completed specialist training to be able to do so.

Any Supervisor who does not complete appropriate training via a Deanery, College, Trust or University every three years may be unable to supervise Junior Doctors in the future.
