Medical Training Initiative

Background

The MTI scheme allows a small number of International Medical Graduates (IMG’s) to enter the UK to experience training and development in the NHS for a maximum of 2 years, before returning to their home country.  The scheme is not sponsored by the employer, but instead approved by Health Education West Midlands (HEWM). Entry is permitted under the Tier 5 Visa according to the UK immigration laws

International Medical Graduates will be supervised during their experience by an experienced Consultant.
