Welcome to the training section of the Emergency Medicine West Midlands Deanery website. This section is divided into years of training. The calendar below shows events in the West Midlands, some of these form part of mandatory training for EM trainees and others are courses available to book.
Training in the West Midlands deanery is provided by a large number of departments, covering a variety of populations, from Inner city teaching hospitals to rural district general hospitals. There are three regional trauma centres, and a specialist children's hospital. Within the region there are three medical schools each with undergraduate & postgraduate training programmes.
