Clinical Attachments are for International Medical Graduates who are looking to gain some experience of the NHS.
A Clinical Attachment gives an insight to working within the NHS and the UK medical, legal and cultural traditions and is a great way for doctors to learn about UK clinical practice and NHS procedures. The scheme is intended to build confidence and improve chances of passing exams and recruitment potential.
Trusts will no longer be required to gain approval from Health Education England working across the West Midlands for any applications. If you are interested in undertaking a Clinical Attachment, please contact the relevant Trust directly to arrange the placement.
